    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using Review2XML ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

    2. Description of Service

    Review2XML is a website and Shopify app that turns a store's existing product reviews into a Google Product Ratings feed, so the store's star ratings can appear on Google Shopping. The Service includes:

    • Importing reviews from a CSV or Google Sheets export, or syncing them automatically from a connected review platform such as Judge.me, Yotpo or Stamped
    • Matching reviews to your products and their identifiers (GTIN, brand, MPN, SKU)
    • Generating a product reviews feed in Google's XML format, hosted at a private feed URL that stays up to date
    • An optional one-click connection to Google Merchant Center through Google's official Merchant API
    • A dashboard with feed status, review insights and conversion history
    • A free plan and paid plans, described in section 4

    3. User Accounts

    3.1 Registration

    While basic usage is available without registration, creating an account provides access to additional features including conversion history and subscription management. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

    3.2 Account Security

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

    3.3 Account Termination

    You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    4. Subscription and Pricing

    4.1 Pricing Tiers

    The Service offers the following plans on the website (prices in USD):

    • Free: up to 50 reviews in your feed, for one store, at no cost.
    • Monthly: $6/month for one store, with all your reviews in the feed.
    • Yearly: $59/year for one store, with the same features as Monthly, billed annually.
    • Lifetime: $129 one-time payment for one store, with no recurring charges. Lifetime plans bought before October 2026 keep the five-store allowance they were sold with.
    • Agency & Multi-store: $129/year for every 5 stores, billed annually.

    The features included in each plan are listed on our pricing page. If you use the Review2XML Shopify app, plans are billed through Shopify at the prices shown in the app.

    4.2 Payment Terms

    Subscription fees are billed monthly or yearly in advance depending on your chosen plan. The Lifetime plan is a one-time charge with no recurring fees. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

    4.3 Subscription Changes

    You may upgrade from Monthly to Yearly at any time. Downgrades from Yearly to Monthly take effect at the end of the current billing period. Lifetime plan holders are not subject to subscription changes.

    4.4 Price Changes

    We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until the next renewal period.

    5. Cancellation and Refunds

    5.1 Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time through the dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that time. After a paid plan ends, your feed stays live with up to 50 reviews, the free plan limit.

    5.2 Reactivation

    Canceled subscriptions can be reactivated at any time. Reactivation begins a new billing cycle immediately.

    5.3 Refund Policy

    Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds on a case-by-case basis for service issues or technical problems that prevent you from using the Service. Contact us at info@review2xml.com to request a refund.

    6. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to:

    • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service's security
    • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
    • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
    • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
    • Use automated systems to access the Service excessively
    • Share account credentials with others
    • Upload false or misleading review data

    7. Review Integrity and Spam Policy

    Review2XML takes the product reviews merchants have already collected and delivers them to Google Merchant Center. Shoppers rely on those star ratings, so we hold every feed to the following rules.

    7.1 We never write reviews or change what customers said

    Review2XML does not write, buy, generate or edit reviews. Every review in a feed comes from the merchant's own review platform (for example Judge.me, Yotpo or Stamped) or from the merchant's own export file. The star rating and the reviewer's words are passed to Google as the customer wrote them. The only processing we apply is the technical formatting Google's feed specification requires, such as removing web links and characters that Google rejects in review text.

    7.2 Spam is excluded

    When Review2XML syncs reviews from a connected review platform such as Judge.me, reviews the platform has marked as spam are left out of the feed.

    7.3 Merchants are responsible for their review source

    By using the Service, you confirm that the reviews you send through Review2XML are genuine reviews from real customers, collected in line with Google's Product Ratings policies and the consumer protection laws that apply to you. You must not submit:

    • Fake reviews, or reviews written by you, your staff or anyone paid to write them
    • Reviews about products you do not sell
    • Reviews whose rating or content has been altered from what the customer submitted

    7.4 Enforcement

    If we find, or are told about, fake, manipulated or spam reviews in a feed, we may remove those reviews, pause the feed, or suspend or close the account, in addition to any action Google takes under its own policies.

    7.5 Report a review

    To report a review you believe is fake, spam or misleading, email info@review2xml.com with the store name and a link to the review. We look into every report.

    8. Intellectual Property

    8.1 Service Ownership

    The Service, including its design, functionality, and code, is owned by Review2XML and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

    8.2 User Content

    You retain all rights to the review data you upload or sync. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to generate, host and deliver your review feeds. We do not claim ownership of your content.

    8.3 Generated XML

    The XML files generated by the Service are your property. You may use them freely for your business purposes.

    9. Data Processing

    To keep your feed live, we store your most recent review file (replaced each time you upload a new one), the feed we generate from it, and your conversion history. If you connect a review platform or Google Merchant Center, we also store the access details needed to keep that connection working. This data is kept private and is deleted when you delete your account or uninstall the Shopify app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

    10. Service Availability

    We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

    11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

    11.1 "As Is" Service

    THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

    11.2 Limitation of Liability

    TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REVIEW2XML SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

    11.3 Maximum Liability

    Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

    11.4 XML Accuracy

    While we strive to generate accurate XML feeds compliant with Google Merchant Center requirements, we do not guarantee that generated feeds will be accepted by Google or will meet all specific requirements of your use case. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of generated XML files.

    12. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Review2XML from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

    13. Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

    14. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

    15. Severability

    If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
